Range Material

A tankbag is in dispensable for those who make long trips, in order to have quick access to various items during the trip (photographic material, snacks, first aid kit, etc.).

The most difficult thing is always to find the most suitable one. The requirements that I use to purchase the tankbag for myself are:

(1) Reasonable dimensions that do not hinder driving

(2) Easy Access

(3) Waterproof

(4) Easy removal for accessing the petrol tank

I found all these requirements in the “GIVI TankLock XS320” (15 litres).

The tankbag has two capacities, as it is extendable. It is rainproof, and comes with a protective cover for heavier rain. It also comes with a carrying strap and a map / tablet bag.

Although my bike has 3 panniers, I decided to have my “kitchen” and “food storage” within easy reach. I purchased two 18L “DryBag SW-Motech”, which I can place on top of the side panniers. The DryBags are very resistant and waterproof and they are easy and quick to fix to the panniers using straps.

One of the best solutions for those with panniers is to have “Inner Bags”. Because, in addition to helping the packaging, it is easier to access the desired material. The most recent “Inner Bags” I purchased did not have the requirements I wanted; they were thin, without protection and it were not waterproof.

The Kemi Moto bags are far superior; in addition to being thicker (more protection), they are waterproof and also have separators for better storage.

During my two trips (Portugal & Italy), one of the situations that I did not feel comfortable with was the packaging for additional material (for example camping gear). The adjustment straps were not the best, they took time to assemble and the packaging was not optimal.

After several searches, I found the “Rok Straps” (Stretch Straps).

These are the best I have so far found, both in terms of speed and packaging. Due to the quick closing, it makes putting / taking out of the bag quick and easy. And as part of the strap is elastic, the packaging is tight and secure.

This elastic net, in addition to being small in size, is always useful if we need to attach something small to the bike.

These Tactical Pockets are very useful for storing small objects (straps, cables, rubber bands, tools… etc.).

You can see more details in the text “My motorcycle World Package” (point c.)

One of the big problems for those traveling by motorcycle is the storage and management of electronic cables. Anyone who deals with wires and cables knows what I'm talking about !

This cable bag solves that problem well. All cables are efficiently arranged with the help of elastic bands and small compartments.
